Stadium, Shanghai Grand Stage is located in southwest
of Shanghai facing well-known Huating Hotel and
can accept 18,000 audiences viewing the show. |

Reconstructed in Oct 1999 based
on Shanghai Gymnasium, Shanghai Grand Stage contains
a two-layer stage is 1250m large and olive-shaped
with 60m in virtual length and 32m in virtual depth.
It has a capacity of 18,000 people in entertain and
sports events. It's the first theatre-style and multi-function
indoor stadium in China as well as a conference center
for meetings of various size from several hundred
up to 10,000 attendants.
Besides a16m-high by 24-42m wide frame, the Stage
also contains 7 groups of elaborate mechanical arena
with a total area of 300 square meters in the center
of the stage, with perfect equipments, ensuring various
stage effects expected and flexibility for future
requirements.
