Paris Opera Ballet
The Paris Opéra Ballet is the official ballet company of the Opéra national de Paris, otherwise known as the Palais Garnier, though known more popularly simply as the Paris Opéra. Its origins can be traced back to 1661 with the foundation of the Académie Royale de Danse and the Le Ballet de l'Opéra (1713) by King Louis XIV of France. The official name of the company is Le Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris. It is the successor company to the Ballet du Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique.


The Royal Ballet
The Royal Ballet is an internationally renowned classical ballet company based at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, England. The largest of three major ballet companies in Great Britain, the Royal Ballet was founded in 1931 by Ninette de Valois and was granted a Royal Charter in 1956, becoming recognised as Britain's flagship national ballet company. The Royal Ballet was one of the foremost ballet companies of the 20th century, and continues to be one of the world's most renowned ballet companies to this day.

Ukraine Kiev Opera and Ballet
The Kiev Opera group was formally established in the summer of 1867, and is the third oldest in Ukraine, after Odessa Opera and Lviv Opera. Today, the Kiev Opera Company performs at the National Opera Theatre of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko in Kiev. The rich traditions of Kiev Opera and Ballet were developed by a constellation of star singers and ballet dancers, such as Yevgenia Miroshnichenko, Anatoly Kocherha, Mariya Stefyuk, Anatoliy Mokrenko, Lev Venedyktictov, Tetyana Tayakina, Anatoliy Solovianenko, Halyna Tuftina, Gizela Tsypola, Tetyana Borovyk, Liudmila Yarchenko, Yevdokiya Tsypola, Rayissa Khylko, Liudmila Smorchanova, Lidiya Zabiliasta, Ivan Ponomarenko, Vladlen Hrytsiuk, Valentin Pyvovarov, Mykola Pradchenko, Hanna Kushnirova, Roman Maiboroda, and Victor Yaremenko, whose names are well known  in many countries around the world.

The National Ballet of China

National Ballet of China (NBC), the only Chinese national ballet company was founded in 1959. Pyotr Gusev, the celebrated Russian ballet master laid a solid foundation of classical ballet for the company. Today, in its repertoires, there are dozens of full length ballets, including Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, La Sylphide, Sylvia and others classical ballets. In the past 20 years, especially since the 1990s, the company has staged many contemporary works of ballet such as Serenade, Etude, Four Last Songs, Rite of Spring and also modern dances.
NBC has successfully utilized ballet- an art form from the west- to depict the lives of the Chinese people. The Red Detachment of Women has become a classic is known around the world. Also Yellow River, Butterfly Lovers and Raise the Red Lantern are appreciated repertory. There outstanding ballets established a foundation for creating a ballet style uniquely Chinese.
Many prominent dance artists and choreographers, Dai Ailian, Li Chengxiang, Jiang Zuhui, Bai Shuxiang and others have made important contribution to the founding of the NBC. Today’s young dancers who are full of vigor and vitality, are maturing artistically. Under the industrious training and coaching of Ballet Mistress Feng Ying and Ballet Master Wang Caijun and other teachers, Zhu Yan, Zhang Jian, Wang Qimin, Meng Ningning, Li Jun, Yu Bo have won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at major international Ballet competitions in recent years. The new generation of outstanding dancers led by Sun Jie, have attracted the attention and praise of the international world of ballet.

With its ellipsoidal shell, the National Grand Theater, also named as National Centre for the Performing Arts, is the top class theater in China, which was designed to present Chinese audiences with world-class artistic performances, from large-scale operas and plays to musicals and concerts. The complex encompasses is divided into a 2,416-seat opera house, a 2,017-seat concert hall, and a 1,040-seat lyric theatre.
