| The Gayest Voice in Cantopop History
Back to the Grand Stage Shanghai
Priscilla Chan Wai-han started her life as a professional singer when she was 16 in 1983. Soon she became a strong contender in the golden age of Cantopop. Her other songs such as the frenzy 'Dancing Boy', 'Snowing' and 'Thousands of Songs' are among of her more famous hits. However, it was her everlasting hit Thousands of Songs that placed her up there among the likes of Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui and Andy Lau.
She chose to retire in 1989 in order to pursue her masters degree in psychology at the Syracuse University in Syracuse. Then she recently held a concert in Hong Kong in 2003. Five years later, she will restart her concert in the Grand Stage of Shanghai bringing back all those classic songs and memory of thousands of people. |
